Is there somewhere to walk dogs?

There is plenty of woodland in which to walk dogs, but please keep them on a lead at all times and clean up any fouling.

Please be aware we only accept one dog per pet lodge and will ask guests to remove any additional pets to kennels or guests home.

Is the Park suitable for people with mobility difficulties?

Please be aware that the park is formed on an historic hillside in long established woodland that follows the contours of the land and is not level. There are natural paths through the woodland that are un-surfaced and uneven. Also the majority of our lodges have steps up to entrance doors.

For these reasons people with mobility difficulties may not be able to enjoy all the facilities that the park offers.

Is linen provided? What else do we need to bring?

All our accommodation provides sheets, pillowcases, 2 pillows per bed, duvets and covers or blankets.

However, we ask that you bring your own soap, towels and other bathroom and kitchen necessities. Beds are made up for your arrival. An iron and ironing board can be borrowed from reception. You may like to bring a hair-dryer with you.

Is gas and electricity included?

We are committed to maintaining value based holidays at competitive prices, and so we continue to make charges for gas and electricity in order to encourage lodge occupiers to reduce consumption and save energy being wasted.

Electricity and gas meters are read before you arrive and again at departure. A record of your reading on arrival is handed to you. Meters are just outside each lodge.

Several of our lodges are however inclusive of electricity & gas – these include Friar Tuck, Harmony, Loxley and Woodlander lodges.
